Eagle Pass Mtn
Eagle Pass Mtn
Revelstoke
2 hr 30 min from Downtown Kelowna
1959 British Columbia 1, Malakwa, BC V0E 2J0The trail contours east around the south slopes of the mountain, climbing quickly up into alpine. Continue to follow the obvious line toward the summit. The final climb to the remains of the old Dominion Fire Lookout is steep and narrow. Route finding increases with lingering snow. A second rigorous 1 hr. return trail to Twin Lakes branches left at the bridge just above the tree line. Steep cliffs, best in mid-summer to avoid snow and/or wet conditions.

Headed up yesterday, was a pretty rad spot. Fog blocked our view from the peak but the streams and wildflowers made up for it.
Monday, August 21, 2017 at 3:08 PMWent up there On September 2nd/18. Went up with two trucks and car, we ended up piling into the two trucks as the last couple kilometres to the trailhead would have been a huge challenge to navigate with just car. I highly recommend only going on this forest road with a 4x4 Suv or Truck. Great views as especially as you get higher during the hike. The hike was quite challenging especially the last kilometre, but there is a lovely cabin with two bunk beds and a stove at the top where you can rest up. Overall Eagle Pass Mountain a challenging hike with gorgeous views.
