Fintry Falls leads you up a wooden staircase through the forested canyon to spectacular views of its three waterfalls and deep pools.

The set of trails begins just after the Fintry campground, parking is available for approximately seven vehicles past the recently restored dairy barn. Once at the top, you have the option to jump the fence and cross a narrow cement beam to reach a tiny waterfall and pool. You can also detour off-trail and view the remains of an old suspension bridge hanging over Shorts Creek.

Deer and the protected California bighorn sheep are prominent in Fintry Park, it is also home to moose, bears, lynx, coyotes and other wild animals - cougar sightings are not uncommon. Birding opportunities include sighting the red-listed Western Grebe, Ruffed Grouse, Northern Goshawk, Great Horned Owl and the Pileated Woodpecker.

A short hike, options to extend your day include taking historical trails to visit the likes of Fintry's Manor House. A Bald Eagle's nest is also located near the Fintry Packing House.

GPS Notes
We have often color-coded our GPX tracks. While it is not always the case, we have tried to use the following convention on our newer maps:

Green/Blue: human-verified by our volunteers.
Purple: overgrown trail, bushwhack, or on private property.
Red: default color or not reality-checked
Yellow: Road
Other Colors: May have been satellite traced or imported from third party sources.

While we strongly believe our GPS are accurate, please be aware that no logging system is perfect and to be aware of potential errors. Use at your own risk.

The worded directions are a bit vague but keep on westside road until you come to sign on your Left pointing down too your right saying Fintry. This road is called Fintry Delta Road, follow this all the way down till you see the dairy barna nd parking on your left. It is a fanastic little hiking and you have to go off stairs to complete the hiking going up or down.

There is a path of sorts to the suspenion bridge remains but doesn't look well maintained and could present a fall hazzard to some people. Crossing over the bridge is very much at your own risk.
